Bergman Vass is a full-service collaborative design team known for their refined palette, tailored sense of style, and architecturally defined interiors. Principal designer Dana Bergman and creative partner Erica Vassalotti combine their deep appreciation for classically designed spaces that seamlessly blend traditional elements with fresh interpretations. Their distinctive approach is rooted in simplicity and thoughtful execution from concept to completion. The firm’s design ethos is built on passionate collaboration with artisans, architects, and builders, but most importantly, with their inspiring clients as they create serene, collected spaces that reflect lives well lived.

Erica’s design background is steeped in retail and art direction. Her passion and experience in the home industry began in production styling and in buying art and decorative accessories for the home catalog at Anthropologie where she worked with international stylists and top tier art directors who helped shape her unique perspective. Throughout that time, she also worked as an apprentice under Athena Calderone of EyeSwoon, from whom she gained appreciation of all things vintage and sourcing from unlikely places. Well-traveled, Erica’s design acumen reflects her eye for playful shapes and fresh juxtapositions. She revels in new possibilities for creative expression.

Dana is an accomplished interior designer who has quietly operated her business for nearly 30 years. Early in her career she worked for Floss Barber, Inc. and later established two design studios, first in Haddonfield, NJ and then in Gladwyne, PA. Dana’s passion for her craft, deep experience, and collaborative spirit has attracted a loyal and discerning clientele. In her leisure, she spends time with family and at the beach and on her own creative endeavors. She loves to travel and cook and is an ardent student of art and ceramics. She holds a BA and Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.
